Yolanda M. Gibbs, 56 of Sterling passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at her home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 29 at the Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Jodie Harless officiating. Service will conclude at the church.

Yolanda was born April 8, 1961 in Sterling to Cary Lambert and Karen Jean Rice. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1979 and attended NJC. Yolanda married Arlyn Gibbs on March 13, 1982 in Fleming, Co. She worked as a custodian for over 17 years at the Christ United Methodist Church and was also a Lay Pastor at the New Raymer Community Church. She enjoyed quilting and was active with the quilting group and the study group at Faith United Methodist Church.

Yolanda is survived by her husband Arlyn Gibbs; son Jacob Ryan Gibbs; granddaughter Brooklyn Faye Fitzjohn of Sterling; parents Karen and John Ertle of Sterling, Cary and Carol Lambert of New Raymer; Brothers and sisters, Chris (Julia) Lambert of Fort Morgan, Jokima (Mark) Scott of Cheyenne, WY., Jonathan Ertle of Sterling, Chad (Jill) Lambert of Greeley, Cara (Ryan) Draegert of Brush, and Kyle (Brice) Lambert of New Raymer.
