Wilma was born on June 12, 1929 in Haxtun, CO. She was the first child of Reuben and Amelia (Stumpf) Koehler, who preceded her in death along with her youngest brother Kenny. Wilma grew up in the farming town, of Crook, Co., where she met the love of her life, Maurice "Morty" Clevenger. Wilma and Morty were known to all as a great team. One of their joys was going to Dutch Hops. They were married on August 22, 1948 and farmed in the Proctor area for several years. Wilma and Morty loved farming. They moved to Sterling for a couple of years, and then to Thornton, Colorado in 1959 where Wilma started her career with F.W. Woolworth. She started out as a stockroom employee in Thornton, CO., and quickly went up the ladder and became a Personal Director, both in Northglenn and Colorado Springs, CO. After retiring Wilma and Mort moved back to Sterling in 1993. It was there that Wilma started a 15 plus year routine of meeting with her dear friends each week for coffee.

Wilma is survived by son Larry (Sue) and daughter Vickie (Scott) Buckley all from Thornton, CO. She was grandmother to Chris (Laura) Clevenger of Thornton, Shanon (Scott) Calvin of Thornton, Matthew (Becky) Buckley of Henderson, CO and Courtney (Jim) French of Brighton, CO; great- Grandma Willy to Corey Tatham, Brianna and Colton Clevenger, Ava and Claire French and Emery Buckley; her beloved siblings; sisters Gloria (LaVerne) Rewerts of Cut Bank MT., Norma (Bob) Plank of Sterling, Co., Arlene Ring of Colorado Springs, CO and brother Arlen (Donna) Koehler of Windsor, CO.
