Obituary
Wauneta Faye Herman, 92, of Sterling, passed way Oct. 25, 2012, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tues., Oct. 30, 2012 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, followed by graveside service at 10:30 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Young will officiate.
Wauneta was born June 21, 1920, in Sterling to Amos W. and Fannie (Nichols) Tayler. She graduated from high school in Sterling and was a lifelong resident of Sterling.
On Dec. 11, 1942, she married Carl M. "Red" Herman in San Diego, Calif. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1992, before his passing in 1994.
She was a member of Drove No. 213 Patriotic Order of the Does.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and by special friends, Dennis and Pat Munger of Sterling.
Wauneta was preceded in death by four brothers, Vaughn, Byron, Milan and Melvin Taylor.
