Wanda I. Lambert, 69, of Sterling, died April 7, 2011, in Loveland. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Chaney-Reager, with Deacon Ronald Michieli officiating. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Sterling to Aurel H. and Esther E.L. (Nelson) Wagner. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1960.
On Sept. 17, 1960, she married Dennis K. Lambert at Winterhaven, Calif. They were married for 50 years.
She was an insurance agent through the years, most recently with Farmers Insurance Michieli & Associates.
Mrs. Lambert has lived in California, Wyoming and several areas of Colorado through the years.
She was a member of Northeast Colorado Model A's, Pedal Pushers Model T's, Model T Ford of America and Northeast Model T Club. She enjoyed playing bingo and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lambert is survived by her husband, Dennis Lambert of Sterling; daughter, Colleen Gillespie and husband Mike of Sterling; grandchildren, Nathan Gillespie and Samara Matson, and Nicole Gillespie; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Dakota; sister, Audrey Healey and husband Lynn of Sterling; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Nolde and husband Rich, Laura Melvin and husband Paul; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurel and Esther Wagner; brother, Gayln A. Wagner; and great-granddaughter, Shaelynn Paige Trump.
Memorials may be made to Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
