Viola Fritzler, 85, of Sterling, passed away Jan. 8, 2013, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. James R. Nash officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Viola was born Oct. 29, 1927, in Sterling to Jacob and Mary (Miller) Keller. She graduated from Padroni High School in 1945.

On June 24, 1951, she married Alexander Fritzler in Sterling.

Viola was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

She is survived by her son, Tom Fritzler and wife Debbie of Rio Hondo Texas; daughter, Sallie Lederhos and husband Harold of Sterling; sister, Eleanore Darveau and husband Hugh of Lakewood; five granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Fritzler in 1997; sisters, Mary, Mollie, Pauline, Katherine, Esther; and brothers, Jake, Henry, Robert, John, Harold and Albert.
