Vince Hoefler, 70 of Fleming, Colorado died Thursday, November 26, 2020 at the Sterling Regional MedCenter. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, December 18 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling. A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 19 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Fleming, CO with Father Jerry Rohr and Father David Hoefler as concelebrants. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.

Vince was born August 9, 1950 in Fleming, Colorado to Frank and Mary (Brekel) Hoefler. He graduated from Fleming High School and Northeastern Junior College. He farmed all of his life and on December 18, 1992, he married Karen Sykes of Guthrie Center, Iowa. Vince was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and Order of the Franciscans and he was the founder of the Right to Life in Sterling.

He is survived by his wife Karen; brothers Andy Hoefler of Blair, NE, Ben Hoefler of Springfield, IL, Jerry Hoefler of Torrington, WY, Mike Hoefler of Victor, MT; and sisters Jean Tomlinson of Oakdale, CA, Caroline Daise of Sterling, CO, and Aggie Derby of Cheyenne, WY.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Raymond Hoefler and Sylvester Hoefler.
