Vernon Kent Hanson's Obituary
Vernon "Kent" Hanson, 75, of Aurora, passed away Jan. 9, 2013, in Aurora. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Heather Gardens Auditorium in Aurora, with graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at Leroy Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 20, 1937, in LaJunta to Elmer and Eleanor (Payne) Hanson.
He was a pharmaceutical representative for Glaxco.
Vernon was married to Donna Lou Foxal.
He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Hanson of Aurora; son, Ryan S. Hanson; sister, Joann; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the Kent Hanson Memorial, for a scholarship for a Denver University student.
Chaney-Reager Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
