Troy Alan Daughenbaugh, 35 of Sterling, passed away Tues., Mar. 15, 2016 in Sterling. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Sat., Mar. 19 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Witherspoon officiating. Service will conclude at the funeral home.

Troy was born June 1, 1980 in Fremont, NE to Kenneth B. and Lynne Ellen Zigler Daughenbaugh. He graduated from Longmont High School in 1998. The family moved to Sterling in 2010.

Troy worked at McDonald's in Sterling until he became ill. He loved gardening and helped take care of his grandfather. Troy enjoyed driving around looking at the scenery.

Troy is survived by his mother Lynne Daughenbaugh of Sterling, his father Kenneth Daughenbaugh of Missouri,grandfather George Zigler of Sterling, sister Jenny Crehore and husband Larry of Longmont and nephew Conner Daughenbaugh of Longmont.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Micky Zigler.
