Timothy A. Pilkington, 74 of Loveland, formerly of Iliff, Colorado passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023. A celebration of Tim's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 2 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Pastor Kristie Firme officiating. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Sterling, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.

Tim was born March 1, 1949. He grew up the only child of Chuck and Irene (Hartway) Pilkington on a farm north of Iliff, CO. Tim was raised by his mother, having lost his father to a farm accident when he was in the third grade.

Tim graduated from Iliff High School in 1967 with a close class of 13 students. He then attended NJC. Tim farmed and ranched in the Iliff area until he moved to Loveland at the age of 33.

Tim started a roofing business, Pilkington Roofing, Inc. that worked all along the front range. He loved rodeos, western art, and especially watching old cowboy westerns on TV.

Tim was most proud of his 40 ^th Birthday of sobriety this past February, a noble accomplishment worth celebrating. He was a member of the Big Book Group (AA) of Loveland. Tim served in various leadership positions and mentored many young members. Through AA he attended Bible studies and enjoyed reading the Bible. He especially liked reading First and Second Timothy, with his favorite scripture being 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

Tim is survived by some very dear cousins, many special members of AA, and all his friends and neighbors that he grew up with in the Iliff Community.
