Obituary

Thelma Losure, 100, of Sterling, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at Sterling Living Center. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 2, with family receiving friends from 5 to 7, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, at First Presbyterian Church in Sterling, with the Rev. Thomas Gosser officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
She was born March 12, 1908, in Canadian, Texas.
After living in Texas 44 years, she and her family moved to Colorado, where she lived for 57 years. With the help of friends, she was able to live in her home until a recent fall.
On Jan. 25, 1933, she married Raymond L. Losure in Walters, Okla.
Mrs. Losure was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Losure of Borger, Texas; granddaughters, Jan Losure of Littleton and Suzanne Losure of Thornton; grandson, Marcus Dodson and wife Denise of Borger; great-grandaughters, Morgan Brown and husband Chad of Pampa, Texas, Sarah Pike of Aurora, Katelin Pike of Thornton and Kate Dodson of Borger; and great-grandson, Jack Dodson of Borger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Losure.
