Terry Marlene Kerschner, 59 of Sterling, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 in Sterling.  Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with Rev. Matt Woodword officiating.   The services will conclude at the funeral home.

Terry was born April 27, 1955 in Poway, California to Delores Jean Murchison and William T. Hancock.  She graduated from Poway High School in 1973.  Terry moved to Sterling from Poway in 1986.  Dec. 31, 1988 she married David L. Kerschner in Sterling.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers and animals.  She was always more worried about others than herself.  She had a great love for all animals and especially her three puppies.  They were her babies.  She also took great pride in raising and taking care of her granddaughter Shawna Beacham who David and Terry had full custody since 2000.

Terry is survived by her husband David L. Kerschner of Sterling; father William T. Hancock of Sterling; son Keith Remmers and wife Jennifer and daughter Kelly Remmers,all of Phoenix, AZ;  sisters Kathy Maier of Florida and Robin McKinney of Oregon; grandchildren Shawna Ann Beacham of Sterling, Emily and Aaron Remmers of Phoenix; sisters-in-law  Barbara Mayhugh and husband Lonny,  Lori Smith and husband Steve and Linda Kurtzer, all of Sterling.

She is preceded in death by her mother; in-laws Francis and Alta Kerschner; and brother-in-law Ron Kurtzer.
