Susan Brown, 53, of Sterling, CO passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Banner Mckee Medical Center in Loveland, CO. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm, Wednesday, January 22, at Halouska Family Chaney- Reager Funeral Home with Bob Duffield officiating the service. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Susan Marie Brown was born on May 21,1971 in Batavia, New York. Susie was adopted by William and Vivian Leacock of New York. Later Susie and her parents came to Colorado in 2004 and then she became eligible for services at ECSDD around 2005.  Susie enjoyed various activities that included dance parties for every holiday hosted by ECSDD and prom hosted by A Chance to Dance- Northeastern Colorado. Susie also enjoyed bowling which her bowling trophies speak volumes on her love for the sport. Susie will be remembered for always smiling and her love for pasta! Susie will be tremendously missed by her legal guardian Amanda Mendoza + Family, numerous caring and compassionate caregivers, and most importantly her special friends at Adams Circle & Duffield Center.

Susie is preceded in death by her adopted father, William Leacock.
