Steven S. Roumph, 45 of Sterling, passed away Sat., April 18, 2015 in Sterling. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Sat., April 25 at the First Presbyterian Church, with services concluding at the church.

Steven was born May 3, 1969 in Sterling to Lowell E. and Judith A. Settles Roumph. He attended Sterling schools, graduating from Sterling High School in 1987. He continued his education at Northeastern Jr. College, receiving an AA Degree. Steven was honored as an Academic All-American for Men's Basketball. He attended Colorado State University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in 1991.

Steve worked in construction, on the railroad and later as a technical recruiter. Steve got a twinkle in his eye when he built a deck, remodeled a bedroom or a bathroom. His disabilities forced him to retire in the late 1990's.

Steve was a kind and caring person who will be missed by family and friends.

Steven is survived by his parents Lowell and Judy Roumph; sister Diane Roumph; brothers Eric Roumph and Mike Roumph.

Contributions may be made to the Humane Society. Steve had a soft spot for stray animals, especially his cats.
