Steven Lee McLinn, 52, of Sterling passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from complications due to Covid. A celebration of life will be decided later.

Steven was born February 28, 1969, to Dave and Karen McLinn in Pratt, Kansas. He was raised in Sterling, Colorado and Haigler, Nebraska where he also attended school.

Steve enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and cooking whatever he could. He loved making a deal or a trade for anything he might want or need. The last two years, Steve was a boat inspector for the State of Colorado at Jumbo Reservoir. He loved his two sons and would have done anything for them.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Fritz and Edna Zuege of Haigler, Nebraska and Earl and Ruth McLinn from California.

Steve is survived by his sons Nicolas McLinn & Sam McLinn from Washington State; mother Karen Kreachbaum of Sterling; father Dave (Ruby) McLinn of Texas; sisters Peggy McLinn from Merino, CO and Brenda McLinn of Sterling CO and brother David McLinn of Tennessee and many nieces, nephews and friends.
