Steven Avin Davis, 67 of Sterling passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Per his request, no services will be held.

Steven was born August 29, 1955, in Sidney, Nebraska to Melvin Avin Davis and Glenna June (Smith)Davis. Steven graduated from Sterling High School in 1973 and he married Nancy Koester on June 22, 1974 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Sterling. He worked as a welder at the Sterling Beef Plant and Xcel in Ft. Morgan. He enjoyed playing his guitar, camping, and fishing. Steven was a great father and grandfather to his girls and his 8 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and uncles.

Steven is survived by his daughters Stacey Davis, Amanda Davis, and Kerri Morgan; grandchildren Kayla Morgan, Ashley Morgan, Phillip Morgan, Hailey Morris, Eli Davis, Mathew Gasper, and Courtney Gasper; great grandson Ernesto; uncle Tim and aunt Jill Smith.
