Obituary
Steven E. Buchanan, 63 of Sterling, passed away Fri. June 26, 2015 in Sterling. Funeral service Mon. July 6, 2015 at 2pm at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Interment 1:15pm, Tues., July 7 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C, Denver, CO.
Steve was born Nov. 11, 1951 in Sterling to Nelson and Victoria Rohleder Buchanan. He graduated from high school and served in the U.S. Army. He worked in the oil field industry as a hydraulics mechanic.
Steve enjoyed fishing and golfing and loved watching movies and doing crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his daughter Jessica J. Buchanan-Payne and granddaughter Bobbi Jo Payne of Sterling.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Nelson Buchanan and former wife Roberta Lorraine Terrill Buchanan.
