Shirley Jane Sewald, 83, of Longmont, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, in Longmont. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Chaney-Reager with the Rev. Sean Cole officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Sewald was born April 14, 1925, to John and Gertrude (Bosley) Wickham in Fleming.
She married Valentine "Val" Sewald on Jan. 10, 1951 in Sterling. They were married for 40 years.
Mrs. Sewald was a homemaker.
She is survived by a brother, Mel Wickham of Sterling; a granddaughter, Kendra Wickham of Greeley; grandson, Marty Wickham and wife Tammy of Daykin, Neb.; great-grandchildren Kolton Wickham and Jessica Ritter, both of Daykin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Val Sewald; son, Kenneth Wickham, and parents John and Gertrude Wickham.
