Sherry Kinnaman, 71, of Sterling Colorado passed away on October 23, 2015. She was born on July 7th, 1944 to Texanna and Cleo Fulgham of Portales New Mexico. Sherry grew up in Clovis New Mexico. In the mid 1950's her family relocated to Colorado where she spent time in Denver as a child. On July 4, 1976 she relocated to Sterling where she lived out her life. Sherry was full of life and love. She had an amazing knack for crochet and would spend her spare time making beautiful afghans and crafts which she would share with the family. She had a heart of gold and loved animals. She had many pets that she cherished including her beloved Mousy. Sherry, a loving mother and grandmother is preceded in death by her mother Texanna Overholt, father Cleo Flulgham and step-father Mike Overholt. She is survived by her three children, Lesia Coats and husband Brad of Willard Colorado, Melissa Kinnaman of Sterling Colorado, and Justin Kinnaman of Washington D.C., her brother James Fulgham of Plano Texas, her 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Donations in her name can be made to the Max Fund of Colorado or any local no-kill animal shelter.
