Obituary

Shedra "Rooney" Lang, 63, of Sedgwick, died Nov. 11, 2011, in Sedwick. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Presbyterian Church in Sedgwick, with the Rev. Alan Harris officiating. Inurnment will be at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Mrs. Lang was born Sept. 27, 1948, in Denver to Archie and Loretha (Overturf) Kincaid. She graduated from high school.

She retired from Denver shipping and receiving.

In 1967, she married Robert Lee Lang in Denver.

Mrs. Lang was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and reading a good book.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Lang of Sedgwick; daughter, Tracy Loretha Young and husband David W. of Sedgwick; son, Steven Foster Lang of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brothers, Michael Martin of Denver, Dennis Henderson of Denver, Archie Kincaid of Sterling, Doug Smith of Kearney, Neb.; sisters, Onalee Martin of Sparta, Wis., Karen Arias of Kearney, Mary Baker of Benkelman, Neb., Claudine Johnson of Benkelman; grandson, Benjamin Avary Young; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bradley Kincaid.
