Obituary
Scott Allen Reitz, 48, of Sterling, died Jan. 3, 2010, in Sterling. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Kirschbaum officiation. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
He was born June 13, 1961, in Sterling, to LeRoy Reitz and Shirley Harriman Reitz. He graduated from Sterling High School, continuing his education for one year at Mountain College.
Mr. Reitz was a welder for various local companies.
His hobbies included hunting, photography, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, LeRoy and Shirley Reitz of Sterling; brother, Brian Reitz of Loveland; and four nieces.
Mr. Reitz was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phil and Marie Reitz and Frank and Aleen Harriman.
