Obituary
Sarah Ruth Buckler, 87 of Sterling, passed away Tues., Sept. 2, 2014 in Sterling. Visitation will be from 3pm until 7pm Fri., Sept. 5 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10am, Sat., Sept. 6 at Peace Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Sarah was born Feb. 24, 1927 in Fairland, Indiana to Benjamin and Drucie Bean Dake. She married Clair Buckler June 3, 1945 in Shelbyville, Indiana. They moved to Sterling in 1960. Sarah enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Sarah is survived by sons Wilbur Buckler and wife Janice of Fairbanks, Alaska; Darrell Buckler and wife Elaine of Sterling; Roger Buckler and wife Beverly of Ogallala, NE; daughters Janell Ruf and husband Dale, Sterling, CO; Marjorie Prickett of Wasilla, Alaska; Sharon Karg and husband Kenneth of Haxtun, CO; sister Hazel Albert of Indianapolis, IN; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clair Buckler in 1999, grandsons Brian Buckler and Jason Prickett, granddaughter Gina Coats and a brother and sister.
