Sandra K. Pedersen, 64 of Sterling, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with diabetes on Wed., April 6, 2016 in Sterling. Memorial service will be Sat., April 9 at 1:30pm at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Bigler III officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.

Sandra was born June 7, 1951 in Jasper, Minnesota to Stanley and Delores Emery DeSchepper.

She participated in several pool leagues and 4-H Club and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.

Sandra is survived by her sons Mark Petarde and wife Sherry and their children Danielle Petarde, Heather Petarde and Julianne Petarde of Sterling and Dennis Petarde of Pipestone, MN; siblings Karen Fritz of Pepin, WI, Steven and Diane DeSchepper of Chancellor, SD, Kathy Holiway of Tracy, MN, Thomas and Lori DeSchepper of Pipestone, MN, Terry and Brenda DeSchepper of Bloomington, MN, Todd and Jodi DeSchepper of Peyton, CO and Tracy DeSchepper of Sioux Falls, SD.
She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Delores DeSchepper, husband Doug Pedersen and brother Michael DeSchepper.
