Ruth A. Headley Weber, 99, of Sterling, passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2013. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Christ United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ed Bigler III?officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.

Ruth was born March 22, 1914, in Dalesford, Saskatchewan, Canada, to John T. and Eddith Hutchinson Headley. Ruth graduated from Crook High School in 1933 and attended Northeastern Business College in Sterling in 1934.

In 1935, she married W.H. "Bill" Weber in Lexington, Neb. The couple moved to the Sterling area in 1937, living here until 1964, when they moved to Boulder. Bill passed away in 1970 and Ruth moved back to Sterling, where she lived until her passing.

Ruth was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Camera Club, Logan County Genealogy Society, Christ United Methodist Quilters, Logan County Historical Society and the Logan County Democratic Central Committee.

Ruth is survived by her son, Justin and wife Norma; grandsons, Justin and wife Julie, Todd and wife Michele; granddaughter, Bonnie Roome and husband Bruce; seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; and her four brothers.
