Ruby Maxine Heller, 79, of Sterling, died June 12, 2011, in Sterling. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Bigler officiating. Services will conclude at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Mrs. Heller was born May 28, 1932, in Haxtun to Charles H. and Grace A. (Munday) Hulse. She graduated from high school.

She was married to Leslie E. Heller.

She lived in Haxtun until four years ago, when she moved to Sterling.

Mrs. Heller was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Haxtun and a member of the Red Hat Sorority.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Carey of Fleming, Linda Heller of Sterling, Sharon Gerold of Carnation, Wash.; sisters, Rose McClain of Holyoke, Jean Schumacher of Haxtun, Dorte Stowe of Montana; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie on July 10, 1978; her parents; two sons; three brothers; and one sister.

Chaney-Reager Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
