Ruby Nell Green, 95 of Thornton, CO passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 1 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Kinney officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Ruby was born on June 8, 1922 in Sterling, Colorado to James and Hazel (Rowley) Bigg. She married Ralph E. Green on December 24, 1941 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She worked as an Avon representative for over 20 years. Ruby was a member of the First Foursquare Church of Sterling where she served many years as the church secretary and treasurer, head deaconess and Sunday school teacher.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. Green on April 20, 2002; daughter, Pamela Sonnenberg and 7 siblings.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Goslee and husband Gary; son, Rick Green and wife Michele; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
