Ruben Edward "Rudy" Frick, 78 of Sterling, passed away Wed., May 18, 2016 in Fort Collins, CO. Memorial service will be 3pm, Sat., May 21 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with services concluding at the funeral home.

Ruben was born Nov. 8, 1937 in Trinidad, CO to Ruben and Edna Shafer Frick. He graduated from Aurora High School and served in the Military Reserves.

Rudy married Linda Lynch in Aurora, CO on Nov. 17, 1956. They had been married for 59 years.

He worked at the Sterling Beef Company/ Excel Beef as a truck driver for several years before his retirement. Rudy enjoyed fishing, boating and camping with his family.

Ruben is survived by his wife Linda Frick of Sterling; sons; Randy Frick of Sterling, Russell Frick of Centennial, CO, and Robert Frick of Otis; daughter Lori Snider of Timnath, CO; sister Karen Wachob of Aurora; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ronald Frick and Marvin Frick.
