Ronald James Reigenborn, 63 of Sterling, left to be with Jesus on Fri., Jan. 29, 2016 in Greeley. Visitation will be 10am until 4pm, Mon., Feb. 8 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with Vigil Service and Recitation of the Rosary at 6pm, Mon. at Chaney-Reager. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tues., Feb. 9 at 1pm in the basement of the St. Anthony School Building with inurnment at Riverside Cemetery.

Ronald was born Dec. 9, 1952 in Sterling to George and Elizabeth Hoppal Reigenborn. He grew up in Sterling with his siblings, Duane, Pat and Marilyn. He attended St. Anthony School through the 11th grade, when it closed. Ron graduated from Sterling High School in 1971.

Ron did various jobs growing up, paperboy for Journal Advocate, summer farm hand for his uncles, station attendant for Foxhoven's, and tire handler at Foxhoven's in Sterling. When George, his father, had heart and health problems, Ron became his full time caretaker.
Ron enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, playing cards and yahoo, gardening and helping others. He was loved and unafraid of stating his opinion. He loved a good argument and being around those he loved.

Ron is survived by his siblings Duane, Pat and Marilyn and by nieces and nephews Vicky, Linda, David, Luis Jr., Steven, Eric and Adam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth Reigenborn.
