Roland Lee Whited, 52 of Atwood, passed away Mon, June 16, 2014 in Atwood. Celebration of Life to be held Sat. June 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Park in Sterling.

Roland was born Sept. 21, 1961 in Sterling, CO to Roland Willard and Elizabeth Stevens Whited. He married Michelle Whited, Dec. 23, 1988, they later divorced.

He was an over the road trucker, which he enjoyed. Roland also collected Nascars and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Roland is survived by daughter Kayla Whited and grandson Eason and granddaughter Evelayah McFarland of Sterling; daughter Shantel Whited and husband Levi Conner and grandson Kaiddyn Conner of Sterling; and stepson Cody Futch of Sterling; brothers Gene Whited and wife Sue and Danny Whited, all of Sterling and Johnny Whited and wife Linda of Sidney, NE; sister Vicky Brunelle and husband Mike of Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roland and Elizabeth Whited and brother Randy Whited.
