Rodney James DeLong, 60, of Sterling, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, in Sterling. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with the Rev. James R. Nash officiating. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Rodney James DeLong was born Aug. 21, 1946, to Neal DeLong and Rose Stumpf in Fresno, Calif. He and his mother moved to Sterling in 1985.
He attended school and graduated from high school in Sandy, Ore.
He was employed at Wisdom Industries at the time of his death. He enjoyed working on cars and all kinds of equipment.
Mr. DeLong is survived by his uncle, Riney Stumpf; aunt, Ester McCullough; aunt, Helen Stumpf and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Neal DeLong; and his mother, Rose DeLong in 1987.
