Roberta R. Gomez, 88 of Sterling passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Sterling Regional MedCenter. Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 6 pm, Thursday, July 26 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4 to 6 pm. A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, July 27 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Flores officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Roberta was born June 7, 1930 in Veracruz, Mexico to Hilarion and Eulalia (Morales) Ramirez. She worked many years at the Bluebird and J and L Cafés.

Roberta is survived by her son Pete R. Monroy and wife Diana; daughter Annie Flores and husband Armando; 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 5 brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, 2 sisters and a brother.
