On Monday, Oct. 13 2014 our loving father Robert (Bob) Wayne Thomas, of Sterling CO, passed away surrounded by loved ones. Friends and family are welcome to join us for a memorial service at 10:00 am, Mon., Oct. 20th, at the Chaney-Reager Funeral Home.
Bob was born in Sterling CO on June 29th, 1949 to father Joseph W. Thomas, and mother Georgia E. Moyer Thomas. He graduated from high school and continued his education to receive a degree in refrigeration. Bob served our country in the U.S. Army as a communication specialist during the Vietnam war. In Nov. 1979 he married his beautiful wife Susan I. Brown.
Bob worked as an appliance repairman through his business Bobs Refrigeration. He was also proud to be a member of the VFW Post No. 3541.
He is survived by his three daughters Amy Roeder of Nebraska, Alicia Kloberdanz and Jeff of Sterling, and Lindsey Thomas and Adam of Sterling. As well as his two sons Josh W. Thomas and Cassie of Merino and Andrew W. Thomas of Sterling. Bob is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; Jaden, Autum, Sammy, Braiden, Carter, Landon, Shayan, Austin, Ryder, Bennett, Kayden, and Carsyn. Bob is remembered by his sisters Josephine Matros and Ken, Glenda Smith and Phil, and Charlene Wells and Jim: also, by his brother George Thomas and Elaine.
He will not be forgotten by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Susan I. Thomas, his granddaughter Haley M. Thomas, and both parents.
