Robert James Sator, 58 of Sterling passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 6, 2021, in Greeley, CO. Viewing and family to receive friends will be held from 2 – 6 p.m., Sunday, September 12 at Chaney-Reager FH. A celebration of Robert's life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15 at Pioneer Park Pavilion in Sterling.

Robert was born July 27, 1963, in Omaha, Nebraska to Lawrence and Beverly (Devoll) Sator. Robert served in the U.S Army special ops. He married Jennifer Lynn Guernsey on April 5, 1996, in Sterling, CO. Robert enjoyed working on cars and was the owner of Sator Auto Repair.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Beverly and sister Joy Sator.

Robert is survived by his children Lynn Sator, Brandy Sator and Melissa Freitag; 10 grandchildren, Kyler Sator, Levi Lei, Cody Diaz, Jacky Waltrip Jr., Damon Lei, Serenity Gennes, Jayden Keksi, Haillie Lei, Danika Gennes and Andilyn Gennes; and siblings Roy Sator, Larry Sator, Buster Sator, Patricia Torres and Dorris Jean Sator.
