R. Patrick Davis

Robert Patrick Davis, 72 of Sterling passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, in Aurora, CO. A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026, at The Rock Assembly of God Church, 415 Beattie Street, Sterling, CO. The service will conclude at the church.

Patrick was born May 19, 1953, in Colorado Springs to Robert Eugene Davis and Lourie Irene Bell. He attended college at Tulsa Community College and later became a graphic artist for multiple companies. He also did a lot of freelance work.

Patrick married Roxana Reyes on June 17, 2000, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Since 2011, Patrick was very involved with the Celebrate Recovery Ministry. He was also the facilitator of men’s twelve steps groups in Oklahoma and Colorado and was a volunteer for Inside Out Team in Oklahoma with the Southern Hill Baptist Church.

Patrick taught himself how to play the guitar in his youth and sang with “Up with People”, and with several choirs, and was also a talented portrait artist. He was a highly appreciated handyman. Patrick was a loving friend and father, and he enjoyed playing pool with his friends at the Heritage Center in Sterling, CO

He is preceded in death by his mother Lourie Davis, sister Judy Davis, cousin Chris Brown, aunt Bette Cole, and uncle David Davis.

Patrick is survived by his wife Roxana Reyes Davis, father Robert “Bob” E. Davis, daughters Louriana (Connie) V. Davis, Amber (Lukas) V. Davis both of Sterling, CO; stepdaughters Kayra M. (Chad) Pearson of Indian Hills, CO, Sarai (Mario Funes) Guild of Commerce City, CO; son Michael P. Davis of Sterling, CO; granddaughters Taryn Guild and Kailani Funes of Commerce City, CO; grandson Elias J. Guild, aunt Linda (Harvey) Brown and uncle Vestel Cole; nephew Flint Davis and niece Jamie Davis both of Tulsa, OK.
