Robert E. "Bob" Hill, 75, of Sterling, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at his home. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.

Bob was a graduate of Sterling High School, and later completed an AA degree from a community college in MO.  He worked as a cook for many years in the Eldon and Osage Beach, MO areas. After moving back to Sterling in 1990, Bob cooked in local restaurants before working for Frank Walsh as a groundskeeper and handyman for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Hill; and two brothers - Gordon and Gary.  He is survived by three brothers, Lowell of Evans, CO; Marvin (Ruth) of Ketchikan, AK; and Dale (Judy) of Sioux Falls, SD, sister-in-law Mary Hill of Sterling, cousins, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Treatment Unit at St Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO, 1375 E. 19th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80218.
