Rita Rae Facchinello, 77, of Sterling, CO passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 in Sterling. Visitation will be 10 am – 6 pm Wed., April 12 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4 pm – 6 pm. Funeral service will be 10:30 am Thurs., April 13 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Deacon Ron Michieli officiating. Interment will follow at the Fleming Cemetery.

Rita was born April 24, 1939 in Fleming, CO to Kenneth Edward and Ida Leticia (Thompkins) Rowley. She married Eugene P. Facchinello September 16, 1960 in Scottsbluff, NE. Rita was a cashier and waitress for many years. She was a member of St. Catherine's Birthday Circle and the Proctor Pitch Club. She enjoyed reading, word search and spending time with family and was an avid watcher of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

Rita is survived by her husband, Eugene; sons, J.K. Facchinello of Cheyenne, WY, Rodney Facchinello and Michael Facchinello both of Sterling; daughters, Lori Thompson of Sterling and Amy Vowell of Dalton, NE; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marjorie Williams, Sandra Rowley and Jodi Gardner.
