Derrick "Rick" Dean Davis, 57 of Sterling, CO gained his Heavenly wings on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Viewing will be held from 1 – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 28 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffery Elder officiating. A reception (place to be announced later) will follow the service and Rick will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan at 2:30 p.m.

Rick was born May 9, 1966, in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Harold Dean Davis and Linda Irleen (Goetschel) Davis. He graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1985.

Rick married Rebecca Lynn Campbell on October 31, 2018, in Fort Morgan, CO and were together for 15 years. At the time of Rick's passing, he was part of the Sterling Home Depot family for over 10 years. Rick will be remembered for his infectious smile and him saying "I'm glad you got see me!"

He is preceded in death by his father Harold and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Rick is survived by his mother Linda, wife Rebecca, his children, Eric (Julia), Ashley (Allen), Kevin (Tim), Amber (Tommy) and Cody (Maddie), sister Rebecca,13 beautiful grandchildren, Hannah, Peyton, Taryn, Myia, Ellyse, Muriel, Zaelynn, Logan, Maddie, Raleigh, Andy, Emryn and Kaiser and many other family members.
