Richard Mark Thomas passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at his home in Sterling Colorado. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Richard AKA "Peanut "was born in Florence Colorado on April 1, 1956, to LaVerne Humiston.  She married John Beeson on February 1, 1960, who raised Peanut and his brothers. Peanut worked for Yost Construction for 20 years, and then he worked for Dinklage Feedlot in Sidney and Proctor Colorado where he retired.

He married Wanda McCord on September 5, 1990, in Las Vegas Nevada.

Peanut is survived by a brother Kenneth Thomas, sisters Janice Carman, and Gloria Hinrichs; sisters-in-law Cheryl Gillespie, Mary Helvie and Kathy Thomas; stepchildren Corrina McGegor, Brian Scott, James Bowker, Michelle Bernado, and Stacy (Anna) Bowker and several grandchildren & great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Peanut was preceded in death by his Wife Wanda Mother, Father, Brothers Danny, Roger, Victor and David, also his Grandparents. Brother in-law Sonny Helvie, Rose & Les Steele, Delores & Don Manhalter, Floyd Helvie.
