Richard "Ric" Wayne Allen Jr., 68 of Sterling passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 25, 2022. A celebration of Ric's life will be held at a later date.

Ric was born October 13, 1953, at Ft. Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Richard Wayne Allen Sr., and Nancy Ann (Carlson) Allen. Ric was an artist and he enjoyed drawing, painting, playing X-box and riding his Harley. He loved his "little dog" Trixie and loved spending time with his family and friends, as they meant so much to him.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Sr. and his brother Kevin Evert Allen.

Ric is survived by his mother Nancy Ann Allen of Greeley, CO; children James Allen, Kelly Allen, Tonja Payne and husband Scotty, Dawn Burch all of Sterling, CO, Ron Seidler and wife Denise of Eaton, CO, and Richard Burch and wife Cindy of Briggsdale, CO; siblings Kent Allen, Randy Allen and wife Janet, of La Porte, CO, Renee Horner and husband Andy of Greeley, CO and Kolette Johnson and husband Rocky of Sterling, CO; grandchildren Heath Seifert, Harley Babb, Corey Burch, Travis Burch, Natasha Krautschun, Amanda Rae, Jaeson Gnadt, Justin Gnadt, Anthony Nichols, Thomas Allen, Brandi Cassell, Mariah Campbell, Miranda Modrell, Brandon Modrell, Sadie Payne, Danessa Allen, Jeremy King and Trevor Smith and 23 great-grandchildren.
