Ricarda (Rios) Falcon, 86, of Sterling, died Jan. 10, 2007, in Sterling. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale, Ariz. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary. Burial will be at National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix.

Mrs. Falcon was born April 3, 1920, in Rio Hondo, Texas, to Calixtro and Virginia (Vasquez) Rios.

On March 11, 1938, she married Pablo Tejeda Falcon in Rio Hondo. They moved to Sterling in 1952, and to Santa Ana, Calif., in 1966. They also lived in Glendale and Anaheim, Calif., before she moved to Sterling in 2004.

She was a dedicated wife and mother whose goal was an education for her children. She had faith in God.

Mrs. Falcon is survived by her son, Pablo Flacon Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters, Manuela Hernandez and husband Felix of Glendale, Pablita Rios Falcon and Jaime Ruiz of Sterling; sisters, Maria Inez Hidalgo of Sterling, Cruz Fernandez of Somerville, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Falcon in 1997; son, Adrian in 2006; grandson, Adrian in 1974; granddaughter Guadalupe in 1968; two great-great-grandsons, Tony Angle in 1999, and Alexander Kelly in 2006; her parents; and eight of 11 brothers and sisters.
