Obituary
Rex Stoltenberg, 75 of Padroni, was born Feb. 28, 1937 in Bertrand, Neb. and died March 27, 2012 in Loveland.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sat., April 28, 2012 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with services concluding at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Rex Stoltenberg Memorial.
Rex was born Feb. 28, 1937 in Bertrand, Nebraska to Harlan Saul Stoltenberg and Pearle Evelyn Dickerson. He graduated from high school. He moved to Sterling from Nebraska in 1964. On Nov. 14, 1964 in Sterling, CO he married Kenda Peterson.
Rex was a heavy equipment operator for Logan County, retiring in 1987. He also farmed in Nebraska and worked in the oil fields in Colorado. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and working on cars.
Mr. Stoltenberg was preceded in death by his parents Harlan Saul and Pearle Evelyn (Dickerson) Stoltenberg; and two sisters: June Stoltenberg and Shirley Jackson.
He is survived by his wife Kenda (Peterson) Stoltenberg of Padroni; daughters LeAnn Fisher and husband Chris of Eagan, Minn. and Peggy Stoltenberg of Padroni; sister Jean Johnsen of Wiley; and grandson Joey Stoltenberg of Padroni.
