Rene Rose Baines, 76 of Sterling passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020. A celebration of Rene's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday  November 14 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Phillips officiating. Rene will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery following the service.

Rene was born on June 1, 1944 in Santa Rosa, NM to Joe Rockas and Cecilia (Reid) Rockas. She married David L. Baines on November 30, 1985 in Galveston, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Cecilia.

Rene is survived by her husband David, children Dee Dee, Robin, Kelley and Mickey, one brother, one sister and numerous grandchildren.
