Randy G. Richardson, Sr., age 69 of Sterling, passed away Mon, April 20, 2015 in Aurora, CO. Visitation will be 10a.m. until 4p.m., Fri. April 24 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Join the Richardson family at the Kiwanis Pond Pavillion at the Overland Trail Recreation Area at 1:00 p.m. on Sat., April 25, to celebrate Randy's life. Dress casual in your favorite camo or duck dynasty attire and bring your fishing pole and a side dish to share at the pot luck after his memorial.

Randy was born April 23, 1945 in Riverton, Wyoming to Willis M. and Thelma A. Wood Richardson.

He married Peggy R. Kufeldt in Lexington, NE on July 3, 1966. They moved to Sterling in 1971. He worked for many years at the beef plant.

Randy was a member of the Fort Wicked Muzzle Loader Club. He loved hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids, playing pool and bowling. He enjoyed working at Sharing & Caring and socializing and helping people. Randy continued helping those in need by being an organ donor.

Randy is survived by his wife Peggy Richardson; son Randy Richardson, Jr.; daughters Amy Carlson and husband Ryan and Stacy Adams and husband Kris; sister Sharon Buck; brothers Merlin Richardson and wife Diane and Terry Richardson; grandchildren Patrick, Cody, Travis, Skyler, David, Tessa, Noah, Nathan, Kyle and Taylor; great grandchildren Jaxen, Tristan, Aiden and Kaydence; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
