RaeDee Ann Eddington, 43, of Sterling, died Feb. 27, 2011, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m .Wednesday, March 2, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chappell, Neb., with Fr. Neil Nolette officiating. Interment will be at Gracelawn Cemetery in Tuckerman, Ark.

Mrs. Eddington was born Dec. 15, 1967, in Oshkosh, Neb., to LaVern Arthur and Marjorie Marie (Tubbs) Radke. She attended Oshkosh grade school and graduated from Garden County High School in 1986. She attended Mary Lanning Creighton University School of Nursing in Hastings, Neb., graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Nursing degree.

On Feb. 29, 1992, she married Dewayne Eddington in Hastings.

She was a Baptist member, was president of the American Legion Auxiliary from 2004 to 2007 in Batesville, Ark., and was involved in family support for active servicemen. She was an active member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and was a teacher in religious education classes.

Mrs. Eddington is survived by her husband, Dewayne Eddington of Sterling; parents, LaVern and Marjorie Radke of Chappell; sons, Kodey Dewayne Eddington of the U.S. Marine Corp in Maryland, Lane Joseph Eddington of Sterling; sisters, Marica Schievelbein of Chappell, Shawna Steward and husband Darryl of Cheyenne, Wyo.; brother, Matthew Radke and wife Denise of Ogallala, Neb.; in-laws, Dale and Linda Eddington of Newport, Ark.; sister-in-law, Stacy Lackey and husband Paul of Little Rock, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
