Pressie was born April 18, 1945, in Sidney, Nebraska, to the late Fernando & Jenny Trujillo. She was the 6th out of 10 kids, 8 girls & 2 boys, and was raised in Proctor, CO. Pressie attended school in Crook, where she graduated. After high school, she moved a couple of times before settling in Sterling. She was known for her competitive spirit, especially with her sister, Josie, where everything became a friendly competition.

Pressie had a talent for bringing joy to holiday gatherings by playing UNO, making everyone smile and laugh. Her love for her nieces and nephews was evident, treating them as her own.

In her career, Pressie worked at Rose Arbor Nursing Home in Sterling for three years before starting at Logan County Social Services on November 20, 1977. She dedicated herself to her work there until her retirement at the age of 69 in 2014.

Pressie's hobbies included collecting angels and reading books about heaven. She enjoyed watching the weather, collecting coins, had an interest in astrology, and loved the color purple.  One of her favorite pastimes was her weekend shopping trips and lunch with her sister, Rosie, by her side.

Pressie is survived by her companion, Dionisio "Nicho" Martinez, sisters Josie Saenz, Rosie Soto (Jess), Linda Sanchez (Vidal), Bonnie Kler (John), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernando "Andy" and Jenny Trujillo, sisters Marquita Perez, Elizabeth Cerecero, Lena Vargas, brothers Ralph and Jack Trujillo.
