Pete Fogale Pete Fogale, 70, of Sterling, died Dec. 31, 2010, in Sterling. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Cedar Creek Ranch, 24738 County Road 21, Sterling, with Deacon Ronald Michieli officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Creek Ranch.

Mr. Fogale was born Feb. 1, 1940, in Sterling to Tony and Cora May (Hatch) Fogale. He graduated from Peetz High School in 1958, continuing his education for another year.

In 1963, he started the Cedar Creek Ranch; he was a cattle rancher. He enjoyed sports and reading.

On Aug. 10, 1963, he married Janet A. Whiteman in Greeley. They were married for 47 years.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peetz.

Mr. Fogale is survived by his wife, Janet A. Fogale of Sterling; daughters, Valda Sue Gardiner and husband Pat of Padroni, Linda Diane Niccoli and husband Justin of Sterling, Loretta Kay Pena and husband Glenn of Belgrade, Mont., Lorraine Rene Foreman and husband Mark of Sterling; brother, Don Fogale and wife Gertie of Grand Junction; 12 grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Cora May Fogale.
