Obituary

Peggy Ann Youngman, 57, of Sterling, entered eternal life surrounded by her family and friends June 30, 2012, at the Northern Colorado Long Term Acute Hospital in Johnstown. Her family will honor her with a Celebration of Life service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, at the First Presbyterian Church in Sterling with Reverend Michelle Witherspoon as officiate. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery

Peggy was born Aug. 5, 1954, to Earl and Esther (Deisher) Youngman in Mt. Carmel, Ill. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1973.

Peggy worked at Gallagher's River City Grill in Sterling. She was a licensed commercial insurance broker working as an agent in Boulder, Las Vegas, Nev., and Albuquerque, N.M.

Her hobbies included boating at Lake McConaughy, gardening and spending time with her beloved English sheepdog, Sadie.

Peggy's amazing sense of humor and love for people will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

Peggy is survived by husband, Mike Webb; mother, Esther Youngman; brother, Gary Youngman; sister, Penny Propst and husband Ted Propst, all of Sterling; niece, Katie Propst and husband Adam Graham of Firestone; niece, Keri Propst and husband Sean Baran of Rochester, Minn.; sister-in-law, Phyllis Youngman; nephew, Eric Youngman and wife Abbey, all of Greeley; father- and mother-in-law, John and Sybil Webb of Lawton, Okla.; sister-in-law, Kim Knuth and husband Mike Davis of Aurora; sister-in-law, Kris Vencel and husband Brian of Peetz; niece, Michelle Erb and husband Scott; niece, Melissa Frankenfield and husband Mike, all of Sterling; sister-in-law, Joan Sheldon of Fort Collins; nephew, Howie Youngman of Tempe, Ariz.; numerous great nephews and great nieces; and a close family friend, Harold W. Kautz of Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl G. Youngman in 1981; and her brother, Michael D. Youngman in 2007.

Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Logan County Humane Society or the Peggy Youngman Memorial with contributions going to purchase a park bench in Sterling.
