Pearlie Mae Trammell, 96 of Sterling, passed away Sun., March 6, 2016 in Sterling. Visitation will be 10am until 4pm Wed., March 9 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2pm Thurs., March 10 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Couchenour officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Pearlie was born April 19, 1919 in Ozark, Alabama to Jody and Molly Goodson Canon. She graduated from high school. On Feb. 27, 1936 she married Lewie Trammell in Midland City, Alabama. In 1954 they moved to Sterling from Alabama, where she has resided since.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Pearlie enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.
Pearlie is survived by her daughter Louise Williams of Sterling, CO and her son Gregory Trammell and wife Denise of Fort Collins, CO, sister Maurine Knight of Ozark, Alabama, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lewie Trammell in 1994, one daughter, two sons and two sisters.
