Paulette Marie Zink, 65, of Iliff, died Sept. 3, 2009. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, with vigil service and recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m., at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Iliff, with the Rev. Robert L. Wedow officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Zink was born Dec. 2, 1943, to Raymond Joseph and Dorothy (Pingel) Lechman in Julesburg. She graduated from high school.
On Nov. 19, 1960, she married Frank Zink Sr. in Iliff. She was a lifelong resident of Iliff.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Mrs. Zink is survived by her mother, Dorothy Lechman of Sterling; daughter, Sharon Brown and husband Doug of Sterling; sons, Paul Zink and wife Brenda of Iliff and Dan Zink of Iliff; sisters, Christina Williamson of Fort Morgan, Colleen Sprague of Evans and Marsha Miller of Wiggins; brothers, Joe Lechman of Arizona, Greg Lechman of Denver, Steve Lechman of Arizona and Mike Lechman of Utah; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Zink Sr. in 2001; son, Frank Zink Jr. in 1997; father; and sister, Brenda Nation.
