Paul Dean Dillinger, 69 of Sterling, Colorado passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, in Greeley. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend James R. Nash officiating. Inurnment to follow at Akron Cemetery.

Paul was born March 21, 1955, in Sterling, CO to Elza Clyde and Gloria M. (Gandee) Dillinger. Paul graduated from Sterling High School in 1973. Paul married Karen Lynn Sampson on December 7, 1979, in Sterling. The couple made their home in Sterling and Paul worked many years at the beef plant loading trucks. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and NASCAR races and his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Karen.

Paul is survived by his sons Mike Dillinger and wife Kelsey and William Paul Dillinger; grandchildren Karly, Emma, Addison, and Harper; brother Ken Dillinger and wife Marie and sister Sharon VanCura and husband Gale all of Sterling, CO.
