Patricia Chafin, 82 of Sterling, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2017 at Devonshire Acres, surrounded by her loving family. Recitation of the Holy Rosary & Vigil Service will be held at 7:00pm, Monday, March 13 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 14, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Michael Bodzioch officiating. Services will conclude at the church.

Patricia was born on April 17, 1934 in Spearfish, South Dakota to Lawrence and Florentine (Murray) Kealy.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard "Gene" Chafin; four children, Jeanie Duncan and husband Jerry of Tucson, AZ, Jane Otzenberger and husband Dave of Sterling, CO, Danny Chafin and wife Deanna of Cheyenne, WY, and Christy Korbe of Loveland, CO; brother William Kealy and wife Marcia of Cheyenne, WY; sisters, Donna Anderson of Ogallala, NE, Kathleen Garcia and husband John, of Cozad, NE, Colleen Seifried and husband Dave, of Crook, CO, and Sharon Kealy of Kearney, NE; 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Loy and Varina Chafin; brothers Harold and George Kealy, and sister Shirley Ann Kealy.
